The Baab-As-Salaam (Arabic ), pronounced “bb assalm,” is one of the gates at Makkah-Al-Masjid-al-Haram. Mukkarammah’s This phrase in Arabic literally translates to “Peace Gate” in English. It has long been customary for first-time visitors to the mosques to enter through this gate.
